Miscanthus Giganteus 1 gallon size (large handful size clumps) Quantity of 100, (Limited quantities available in this size). Field grown, bare root to semi bare root, depending on if we ship our you pick up.

This grass grows 12-14'. Expect 6-10' of growth the first year and about 1.5' of width. Recommended spacing when planting is 2.5 -3' apart. Easy to grow in most soils, hardy zones 4-9. Best planted in fertile soils in full sun, but will grow in part shade though it may not reach full height. Grows even in sandy soils, early spring or fall planting best while moisture is present is best in this instance. Must have good moisture and excellent drainage as it establishes, after one year it becomes quite adaptable to excess moisture and dryness. See the home page or miscanthus page for more information.

All existing vegetation should be removed before planting and weed control measures will need to be taken in summer.
